Ukraine consists of 24 oblasts (provinces), and one autonomous republic, Crimea.
Below is a list of each of the 24 oblasts. Below each oblast is a list of the major cities within the oblast; beginning with the capital (which also shares the name of the oblast). Each oblast has a capital, the capital of each oblast, shares the name of the oblast. This can be confusing, but when someone mentions a specific location, they are usually referring to the CITY, not the general oblast.
